WE DID IT EDEN FAM!!  After 99 years we've bought home the Gallaher Shield following a 19-10 win on Eden Park by our Premier Men.  Congratulations to the Goodyear Player of the Match, our super prop, Franck Friconnet, a massive effort from him and his forward pack.  It was a very special day for Eden Rugby/Auckland Rugby Life Member and Eden Rugby club Patron, Tom O'Hanlon.  Tom is one of our top supporters and is at all the games.  Having the opportunity to lift that shield on Eden Park bought our Tom to tears.  A big thank you to our supporters who turned up in force at Eden Park, then back at the club.  Juniors, Seniors, members & supporters, you were all part of this historic moment, thanks for being part of the journey.

Winning the Gallaher Shield was a trifecta for the day.  The George Nicholson Trophy is the other new piece of silverware that we will display proudly.  Our Force Electrical Premier Development played Pakuranga on their home turf, taking the win 20-8, the perfect end to great a season.   Our U21s played their bowl final against East Tāmaki, coming out on top after extra time, 16-12.

What a weekend.
